    Housing Permits reports the number of residential permits issued annually for new residential structures. The Department of Economic and Community Develpment (DECD) Research compiles this data annually. Data is also collected by the U.S. Census on a monthly basis but only for a sample of towns in Connecticut. The monthly data can be found on the Department of Economic and Community Development's website. CTData also carries Annual Housing Permits by Town.
