    Disengaged Youth reports the number and percent of the population ages 16 to 19 that are both engaged and disengaged, by gender.
  • Full Description
    Engaged youths are enrolled in school and/or employed. Disenaged youths are not enrolled in school, not employed and/or not in the labor force. The ACS collects these data from a sample of households on a rolling monthly basis. This data originates from the American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year estimates, table B14005
